National Parents’ Day* was proclaimed by Congress as a national day of commemoration in 1994, after ACLC co-founder Mother Moon had proposed its creation, and has been celebrated annually ever since. This year the 22nd annual Parents’ Day banquet was co-hosted by ACLC, along with FFWPU USA, the Universal Peace Federation (UPF USA), Women’s Federation for World Peace (WFWP USA), and The Washington Times Foundation, and held on August 5, 2016, at The Washington Times in Washington, D.C. True Family Values seminar: Blessing of Marriage

Over 50 teachers, preachers, pastors, and community leaders came together to focus on strengthening families through Marriage Blessing, on Feb. 27, 2016, at Imani Temple, the mother church of the African-American Catholic Congregation (AACC) in Suitland, Maryland.
Archbishop George Augustus Stallings, Jr., host pastor and patriarch of AACC, led us in the first session, entitled “Ideal Marriage and Family,” focusing on the Three Great Blessings which God, our Heavenly Parent, gave to Adam and Eve, in the first chapters of Genesis. [Read more…]
In Revelation 22:14, when referring to the Second Coming of Jesus, it reads, “Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates.” On Saturday, April 30th, 2016, members of the American Clergy Leadership Conference of Los Angeles and their guests truly experienced a blessing from Jesus and the Holy Spirit at the Holy Marriage Blessing Ceremony held at Christian Light MBC and officiated by Bishop J.L. Briggs and First Lady Peggy Briggs. In preparation for this Blessing, ACLC Los Angeles committed themselves to preparing couples to understand more deeply the significance of the Blessing; the change of blood lineage and the indemnity conditions involved with the Blessing.
