The 2016 Labor Day weekend in Oklahoma began with an earthquake registering 5.6 on the Richter scale. Fortunately there were no injuries and there was only minor damage to the Embassy Suites Oklahoma City Airport where an ACLC Women In Ministry conference was held. On the other side of the country, Hurricane Hermine prevented Archbishop Stallings from attending the conference.
“Let us rise up and remember that we must not hide our light. We must keep our light on top so the world knows we are coming. We must be kind, considerate, compassionate and help each other. We are ambassadors for the one true God.” So Archbishop Sulanch Lewis-Rose helped begin the ACLC Women In Ministry retreat in Washington, D.C. area, June 10-12. Over 70 women and men gathered from as far as New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles, Chicago, Oklahoma, Arizona, Philadelphia, Indiana, as well as Maryland, Washington, DC, and Virginia. [Read more…]

- Posted byMargaret Herbers
Over 50 teachers, preachers, pastors, and community leaders came together to focus on strengthening families through Marriage Blessing, on Feb. 27, 2016, at Imani Temple, the mother church of the African-American Catholic Congregation (AACC) in Suitland, Maryland.

“Jesus had something he wanted to show us. Each one of us is making history as an individual, in a family, on the national or world level…by serving others we are elevated. “Putting Faith into Action” was the theme of the New Jersey Women In Ministry (WIM) first prayer breakfast of 2016, held on Saturday, April 23rd, at Berean Baptist Church. Rev. Dr. Jeffrey T. Garland, the host pastor, warmly welcomed everyone to his church. He said his church had hosted many ACLC prayer breakfasts over the years, and expressed that he was really impressed that pastors from other states and representatives from ACLC national headquarters came out for the event. ACLC Women In Ministry Four-City Seminar Tour
Ezekiel 22:30 — “So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land…”
By the grace of God, ACLC Women In Ministry (WIM) were able to stand in the gap as women united in heart here in Chicago on March 19, 2016, celebrating the anniversary of launching the Four-City Seminar. Although just one year has passed, so much growth has occurred in all of us. The foundation of prayer breakfasts and regular Bible/Divine Principle study meetings, and community True Family Values events has been of tremendous benefit to all of us. In planning this event, we formed teams and organized committees with the guidance and support of our ACLC and WFWP national leaders.
