“Let Christ Reign” was the theme of the Los Angeles ACLC monthly Prayer Breakfast on Feb. 11, 2017, and was enthusiastically received at host church Christian Light MBC. Serving as moderator, ACLC Co-Chair, Dr. Nicholas Benson warmly embraced the 70 clergy and guests in attendance. In his welcoming remarks, Christian Light senior pastor, Bishop J.L. Briggs, wholeheartedly testified to ACLC and the power of ACLC founder, Father Moon, to heal division in the body of Christ.
Evangelist Carrie Sanders voiced the word of God in Genesis 1:26-28 and opened us in prayer as the Holy Spirit prepared us to receive an electrifying message from Pastor Godfrey Waswa of New Destiny Christian Center. Pastor Waswa emphasized the importance of receiving Jesus, our Messiah, on the foundation of Genesis and understanding his position as the 2nd Adam. Then in a spirit of unity and excitement, we watched “The Path to Peace” a video re-counting the Middle East Peace Initiative and the crowning of Jesus “King of Peace” in Jerusalem.
Evangelist Carrie Sanders: This prayer breakfast was awesome and the young man, Pastor Waswa, giving the message was truly anointed. We were all in one accord. I had a glorious time in the Lord!
New Ambassadors for Peace
For their inspired activities to provide a Godly solution to division and tension in the city of Los Angeles, 15 participants at the prayer breakfast were given Ambassador for Peace appointments, including 6 young people from CARP, Collegiate Association for the Research of Principles. Then all the clergy who were present came forward to do a laying-on of hands and prayer for these newly appointed ambassadors. In our spirit of oneness, God truly blessed us to receive His Holy Spirit.
Dr. Michael Crosby: It was indeed a joy and privilege to have taken part in the prayer breakfast. We can bring peace to the whole man (spirit, soul and body), then peace can rule in the heart, home, community and the world.
